I had both my dogs vaccinated as puppies, then waited at least 3 yrs to have them revaccinated. I told my vet about what I've read about vaccines, and he just said do not trust everything you read on the internet, and just because a few vets believe in immunity for life does not make it true. Parvo is bad in our area, I asked him if he ever seen a adult dog die of this virus? He said he has seen one at the age of 2 died of parvo. I am not planning on giving my dogs anymore vaccines, however would consider having Titers done, to make sure their bodies are protected, and they are not at risk of any of these major, common illness's .I should also add our vet hospital is AAHA the only one in the whole county.
