I rescued a litter of kittens orphaned by Hurricane Isabel....found them in our back lot at work....ok, maybe they weren't orphaned, but their mother left them alone and child protective services came in, scooped them up, and placed them in permanent adoptive homes. Hubby said he knew from the start when I brought FIVE kittens home, that ONE was gonna end up staying
