It all comes down to how bad it is and whether they are vomiting or not. She was not vomiting....but clearly has pain and it is being treated as pancreatitis. The vet thinks we just caught it really early....I had another this past year with the same thing. As soon as they do not eat, I take them in. Of course, there are times when they just suddenly become ill and start vomiting and having diarrhea. But, I have never seen one be NPO for that many days...they normally start food slowly after 24 hours in my experience. There again, all depends on the pup and what can be tolerate.
Peek A Boo must have been mighty sick to have food withheld that long. Scary
