If I were you, I might be tempted to change foods and see if it helps. Maybe for now, a food such as Purina EN.....but ask your vet first.
An elevated lipase can mean something and can also not mean much. Your vet probably did a CPL to see if this is pancreatitis....which is something I would suspect with his symptoms and the elevated lipase.
