I am so so sorry for your loss, like others have said you did all you could, more than many others would have. I will be harder on you because this came so quick and it sounds like out of the blue, Every member of YT understands you, because we love our dogs just like we gave birth to them and many of us have suffered sudden losses. The sad and hardest part of pet ownership is no matter how long a dog lives their life span is no where close to a human so we love and then are forced to suffer. Since you asked I will tell you that for me I have grieved differently with each one I lost. Sometimes I put things away immediately because it hurt to look at it, then later I would drag some of the stuff back out, at times I got another dog pretty quick, and one time I waited a year. With my last dog I would not let the cleaning lady clean the inside glass on the door panel because he used to look out of it and his nose prints which used to be a source of annoyance now brought be comfort. Please know my thoughts are with you. |
