Awwww, I don't think you should be worrying - he's made his own little 'man-cave'
He'll stay out longer and longer eventually. I know it sounds a bit mad but I think I laid on the floor more than I stood up when Harry first came home!
Does he have a crate to go into? If not, you might like to consider getting one, and then covering it for him? Or one of those beds that looks like an igloo? It's just a security thing, and he'll grow out of it, the more he gets to know you....
