Vets all have different opinions on food. If your Harvey is healthy on what you're feeding him, his bowels move the way they should, and most of all, he likes it, stick to it. When I told my vet what I feed my girls, she said, "Can I come to your house for dinner!?" I use brown rice for a starch because supposedly it has more nutrition than potatos. You can see from this thread that a lot of Yorkie owners do NOT give their babies commerical dog food.
