No, sorry it wasn't quite that much, I was frantic when posting before. It was a can I just opened and put a few drops of the tuna water in his bowl of water. Then I made a sandwich from it, it was not bad tuna.
Here is the thing, I walk him regularly. That is not going to change. So, until I become Queen and ban all dangerous substances and plants (did you see the list?) from the neighborhood there isn't much I can do other then keep an extra careful eye on him and pull him away from anything he opens his mouth near. The treatment administered from the vet flushed out the toxin and made him better, so they said the tox screen most likely will not find anything.
The important thing is that we know where the nearest emergency clinic for him is and are now registered there. He is back to his normal, active, sweet self. Thank-you for asking! |
