Go to the AKC website and do a search for conformation and breed clubs in your area. Hopefully you will find a club that you can become active in. It is there that you may find someone that will help you learn about the breed and who is who in the Yorkie world in your district. No one is going to sell you good breeding stock unless they know you and are comfortable with the fact that you are really serious about doing well by the breed. Even though your dog is not AKC you could still train her and show her in obedience trials. This is also a fun way to get to know people in the dog world.

No reputable breeder of Yorkies intentionally breeds "tea cup" Yorkies. The occasional tiny that does turn up is sold without breeding rights to a home that has be checked out to be a safe loving home with no small children. Tiny Yorkies do need extra care. The ones sold by "greeders" tend to have horrible genetic problems. They should never be bred. I hope you take to heart the things you have been told here and what you read in the information sections. Most people here are horrified by the terrible abusive breeding that is going on in this country and very much want to protect the people and the animals that are being harmed by this trend. Right now toy breeds are being exploited at an alarming rate because the small dogs are in such demand. Ever since pictures of Hollywood types have come out with their little dogs in their bags many think of these dogs as fashion items and do not realize the commitment and dedication that dog ownership entails. People wanting to capitalize on the trend are breeding these dogs and shipping them around the world.
