Congratulations on the apt! Luma should adjust fine as long as she is with you.
I am a fan of the convenience of piddle pads for many reasons. My boys are trained for both pads and outdoors, and they know that no pad in other people's homes means no potty indoors. Whatever you choose, consistency is key.
