Lola and I still love meetups so Kazzy and a few other friends are helping me start a social club for yorkies and other small breeds called Motor City Pups, we have even started a FB group. The main objective is to socialize with our dogs, and it is stated that no one will be able to offer a dog for sale on our site or at our events, unless it is a true rescue or rehome. So positive things are happening here in the Motor City

I am not sure what kind of "hard time" you have gotten from others. I have not read any "ganging up on you"; however, I do not have the time to sit and do a search through all of your posts.

I am glad you are starting a new group and breaking away from Tanisha's. I know ppl who have attended hers and have heard of the collections that are taken to help support her and help her. I think this act and going along with this act helps support an unscrupulous breeder/person. Actually, I would not attend those meetings, even if they were next door to me, bc I do not condone her actions. However, MI is a big, beautiful state, and I certainly did not want to assume in our first interaction that you knew who she was, ever attended a meetup of hers, etc.

Back on the positive note - I am glad you are starting one and are giving ppl in MI a positive alternative to Tanisha's meetup. Perhaps you could speak to the humane society, lic. bureau, etc, in MI to help these poor pups be rescued from a life of being used as money-makers. I don't think I can stomach seeing another disturbing pic from this breeder. It would be wonderful if these pups had an advocate in their own state. I have done advocacy work (human), and I'm sure you would like it. It is very rewarding.
