You could use some doggie antibacterial opthalmic ointment (non-steroidal) if you have some on hand.... if not get some from your vet for your doggy first aid kit.
Maybe some plain (and I mean plain/natural) Natural tears lubricating eye drops for humans... water can burn a little... Natural Tears is soothing to the eye.
If at any point you see swelling, pus, or discoloration or anything abnormal ... get him to the vet.
Also watch that he's not pawing at his eye... that alone could warrant a vet visit.. to prevent him causing more damage.... |
