I read your title & my heart was pounding as I opened the thread. I've never had a leash break, but ZoE once slipped out of her harness in my front yard, (which is on a main road) so I know that panic that you immediately feel once you recognize that they are no longer attached.

I'm so glad to hear that Meesha is ok. What an angel that girl was to stop like that in the street.

With it being summer and most of us being outside more with our dogs, it's a great reminder to all of us to check our harnesses & leashes for signs of wear.
