If your vet says he thinks he could pull them, I would go ahead and get her spayed. You don't wanna wait too long, or she may start her heat cycle which is messy and really unnecessary IMO. It is REALLY scary to drop your baby off and know she's getting a major surgery. I cried that whole day, seriously!! But she's healing now and she's good as new.
Oh, and it costs more, but you should definitely opt to get the pre-op bloodwork done. It'll show if she has any reason NOT to go under anesthesia, and it made me feel sooooo much better about it!! |
I read your whole post about Luma, I still am dreading it! I will do all the bloodworm, laser, and anything else my vet recommends. My baby is worth whatever it takes. I will also bring her home the same night if everything goes okay because I don't want her staying in a strange place especially if she doesn't feel well.
