Thanks for the tips Sarah, your process seems like it'd be the best thing for us to try too. I have a like carpet steam cleaner thing, I use it almost obsessively since Luma used to eat stuff off the floor a lot. Thankfully that was a puppy phase, it seems.
Do you guys think we should train Luma to go potty outside now? She uses disposable potty pads right now and she rarely has accidents anymore. The apt I'm in now is on the 3rd floor so we trained her to pads. Should we just stick to what works for us lol? Or has anyone made the switch from pads to potty bells & going outside?? |
glad you got the apartment! I would just stick to what works for you. If you really want her to be outdoor trained, then I would probably start that now. We're in a 3rd floor apartment too. It's do-able, just a lot of going up and down stairs... such a good workout!
