Luma got spayed last week. She is almost 6months, and weighs less than 4lbs.

She was supposed to get her canines (the long ones) pulled too, but the vet said they aren't even close to coming up under the other ones, so we had to hold off on the teeth. Luma did GREAT during surgery, yay!! It was still scary though.

If your vet says he thinks he could pull them, I would go ahead and get her spayed. You don't wanna wait too long, or she may start her heat cycle which is messy and really unnecessary IMO. It is REALLY scary to drop your baby off and know she's getting a major surgery. I cried that whole day, seriously!! But she's healing now and she's good as new.

Oh, and it costs more, but you should definitely opt to get the pre-op bloodwork done. It'll show if she has any reason NOT to go under anesthesia, and it made me feel sooooo much better about it!!
