Yes, she will remember you. She may be sad to leave her new friend, and she might mope around for a day or two, but she will bounce back just fine. You are her "person" and all a dog wants is a person of their own. She doesn't care what kind of house she lives in. She just wants you, a home, a soft bed and enough to eat. I hope your dear husband is recuperating nicely.
