It may have been the "wake up call" you needed. I hope you take care of your self from now on. Also, because you are aware of the dangers you will find anything fast and that will be a much simpler "cure" then if you let it go.
I had a big scare a few years past (both breast and cervex) so I go in for my check ups and so far all is good-- the dr even said I was pretty much clear for the cervex because it has been so many years... but I still go in for my check ups!!!
