Kazzy, I had hoped you of all people understood my posts...ovbiously I rethought my initial statement and clarified myself in the second post. It was the tone that I heard and took exception to the word Zealots in the context it was said...I for one am not a Zealot but I am grateful we have some of those extremists out there, they are the ones who drive their points home and have the tenaciousness that few of us have. They are the people who open the cages and set lab animals free, they are the people who are able to get the politicians to hear and act, everyday they tirelessly seek to help our animals, those we can see and those we pretend we don't see....I felt your post on first glance lumped all the rescuers and "zealots" together...since that is mainly what we see on YT.

I'm sorry if I offended you.
Though I don't necessarily agree with the Zealots of the world on all of their practices or ways or thought processes, I respect them because at the end of the day their only care is the health and welfare of the most unfortunate animals...therefore, they get my support....

I think this is where I should insert my Prayer...if it offends anyone I'm sorry:

Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals,
especially for animals who are suffering;
for animals that are overworked, underfed and cruelly treated;
for all wistful creatures in captivity that beat their wings against bars;
for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put death.
We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion
and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals,
and so to share the blessings of the merciful.
