I'm sure someone can give you a better answer than I can. I do know that some of the problems that puppy mill dogs have do not show up until they get a bit older. Things like joint issues and even liver problems may not show up until later. I would get blood work done. I'm not sure how effective other tests would be at this age. I guess you have to decide if the one who sold you the pup would ever refund any money if there were health issues. Probably not. Do you have any kind of a contract?
