As far as the bacon..they said that would stay with him.. the vet laughed and said he certainly deserved to keep it after all of this
I don't know if his body started to break down the bacon to digest it once it got to his stomach... thinking that is why....bc once hook showed up on x ray it was just the hook and his tummy had alot of food.. which made getting it a bit more challenging.
The anesthesiologist came in and went ahead and put him under to proceed with trying through endoscopy..and had it not worked .. he was already under and they would have just proceeded to cut him open for removal. I also didn't know that a bare hook could be retrieved endoscopically. I was terrified something would touch ...but it definitely worked
