Most of the things you find in department stores or pet stores are not very healthy for chewing and regular dog toys are more for playing than chewing. Gracie used to steal things to chew on all the time when she was younger, too. I finally found out about bully sticks. They are a wonderful solution for dogs who need to chew. Gracie loves them. They are kind of stinky but they love to chew them and it has kept Gracie from chewing everything she could get her teeth on.
This is the best deal I have found online. I always get her the 12" ones because they have to be thrown away when they get to be 3" to 4" long so they don't choke on them.

Some pet food supply stores sell them and Tractor Supply has some but Gracie likes the Best Bully sticks best. Most stores charge quite a bit more for them.
