All I can say is for you to be VERY CAUTIOUS!!! Reasons: A reputable breeder will never advertise using the words "tea cup" where Yorkies are concerned, because there is no such thing. A reputable breeder will be VERY reluctant to sell a tiny Yorkie to a family with children. You will not likely find a HEALTHY Yorkie from a reputable breeder for $500.00 or less, as we usually have that much tied up in a puppy by the time they are 12 weeks old! Watch your contract very carefully, a reputable breeder will have a very detailed contract, to ensure the pups safety. I was going to suggest a rescue facility, but I am not sure if you can even get a Yorkie for $500.00 or less from a rescue center. Good luck with your search....my experience in this area of buying pups would suggest to you to start saving your money until you can go to a reputable breeder and purchase you a healthy dog, one where you will at least have a breeder that will stand by her dog if something does pop up health wise. Also, you will need a reserve savings account for the annual required medical care, and extra for emergencies! Good luck with your decision on a plan of action! |
