Life before Harry.....hmmmm!!! VERY quiet! Much TOO quiet!!
We too lost our Rosie labrador a few years back - and I said "never again" due to the heartbreak, and thinking we could never go through that again, just couldn't bear it. But time does soften and heal, and bitter tears turn into happy, unforgettable memories...
So anyway, I was a childrens Nanny, but gave it up a couple of years ago as my parents are now elderly and need a lot of care...however the rest of the time seemed so empty and quiet and dull - Andy working all the hours and my kids have left home....so then came Harry!!!
And he's actually done my parents the world of good too - another aspect to their lives...
Fortunately England's VERY dog-friendly on the whole, I don't know of a country pub with great food in our area that
doesn't take dogs, for instance, so Harry's just kind of slotted in with exactly what we used to be doing - but made every moment of every day a
million times better...
