I had a new owner that lost one of my babies in her Koi pond.....obviously outside unsupervised.....she had rocks up one side she thought the baby could walk out on...dont know what happened, but it didnt work....precious little soul drowned....then there was the water moccasin I found in MY Koi pond....end of that , drained water, stacked boulders up inside the pond and put a gallon of water in the bottom to cirrculate...the pump draws ithe water ip and it cascades down the rocks and gives me the "running brook water sound" I love and the babies can not fall into the pond because it has bolders in it....I guess a snake can still get down under those bolders, but the babies cant fall into the pond and drown before I can get them out!
