Hi. I'm new to Yorkie Talk. My Yorkie's name is Smitty. He's now a little over six months old. Our family is quite smitten with Smitty and cannot imagine our lives without him. We absolutely adore him. The name Smitty came about because we are Carolina Panthers football fans. One of our favorite players is Steve Smith #89. He is a receiver and is smaller than most receivers. He is fierce and plays hard and doesn't back down. Of course, Yorkies think they are bigger than they are and they won't back down either. We thought the name fit. Smitty is actually Steven Smith's nickname. Anyway, that's my introduction. Hope to meet some other Yorkie owners. Around here, I can't go anywhere without meeting people who love Yorkies and after meeting Smitty, love him.
