Good grief people get a life! I am NOT a breeder and my dogs are not"show quality"! They arepurebred and family pets. I've had yorkiesin my life for 20 plus years and I don't need AKC or whatever to ensure myenjoyment of the breed. The parents arerobust and happy and so are the pups... and quite contrary to what you areproposing, they are not ill and I doubt they are destined to die at a youngage. Also, I did not come uponyorkietalk until a few days ago when the pups were 9 weeks old and a few daysshy of being 10 weeks of age…so what is the foundation for proposing I wastrying to get rid of them at 8 weeks of age? I am not in this for the money ...there is a lot of expense and workinvolved. In addition, if theadministrator of this forum had a problem with my 10 week old pups, I would nothave been allowed to post. Further, whois anyone to say this posting is my sole purpose… I just got here, give me abreak!
My puppies interact with their mom, dad, Kylie my otherspayed yorkie, and humans on a daily basis... all day long. They are current with all the required shotsetc. and my vet can attest to their good health. My goal is to place my pups with a lovingfamily and if I can do that my efforts will be worthwhile.
So, I have no problem with the yorkie “purists” and you arecertainly welcome to your opinion(s). However, I think there is plenty of room on this earth for people likeme too! And taking this thought one stepfurther, perhaps we should have registries for humans as well to ensure thatthe only ones allowed to be born are of the highest genetic quality.
