Well, that's where it gets tricky. There's 2 ways a pup has this. (I'm defintely nowhere near as knowledgable as some here at YT who have pups with the condition or a similar type NOR am I a vet but here goes. Please help me out if you'd care to). It can be Congenital so from what I've learned it's a great thing when your breeder cares enough to test for it. It can also be acquired which is when some change forces a shunt.
There are so many terrible types of problems which are very similar to LS too.
