She is adorable both ways! There is no way that beautiful little girl can look bad! I can't tell you how it will grow out since I have never had Gracie cut that short but by the looks of her fur it should lay nicely. If you are going to let it grow out you can always even out the length at the ends as it grows. She does not appear to have a curly coat so I think she is going to do just fine as it grows out. I'm sure there must be others that have had their dogs cut down and then grew it out.
