If you go to the grooming forum, there are lots of threads on different kinds of shampoo n conditioner. We all have our favourites. One idea as you like how his coat looks after the groomer washes etc, ask what they use.
For Pet owners I do almost always advise Biogroom Shampoo and Silk Conditioner. It is not too pricey and usually works well for most coat types.
