The moron vet tech was really rough with him, and he hasn't been docile about being handled since. I'm still trying to retrain him to accept having his nose fur trimmed and his nails done, and he is 6 months old now.
Also, a lot of groomers will immediately take a clipper to your dog because it is easier, which will change your dog's coat. Part of the fun of having a yorkie is watching the fur kaleidoscope  |
I agree about the FUR KALEIDOSCOPE!!! Never thought of it that way but that is just what it is.
It looks so strange, the black ends of Zachary's fur are coming in blue!!! He is getting a LOT more tan on him also...he had just a bit around his eyes. I have been keeping the fur on his ears shaved so they continue standing up and what is growing out is NOT what he had before!!



I read it can be 2 years before their true color is in and I am enjoying watching things change.
