I asked the ER vet I was speaking with if he thought it might help any inflammation and reduce his body's reaction to whatever it was. He checked to make sure no interactions with his other meds, and He seemed to think if it didn't help, it wouldn't hurt. This did seem to help, and he is seeming better as the day goes on.
