If I were you.. I would keep doing more research.. If your Biewer is registered in Germany with the IBC ... he is NOT registered as a Biewer Terrier.. but as a Biewer YORKSHIRE Terrier..

I would also suggest doing more research on the test you believe has "proven" that the Biewer Terrier is a distinct breed.. this is now more than ever come into question?????

The Biewer is a German line of tri colored yorkies.. the Parti is the American counter part. The Parti does not carry the German lineage and is AKC registerable. If you breed a Biewer into the Parti lines, they are no longer AKC registerable as the Biewer is not able to be registered AKC at the present time.

Some people believe the Biewer is a breed of it's own separate from the yorkshire terrier.. others, believe it is a yorkshire terrier, just a color variation like the parti is a color variation.
