With so many hours without food, her family and alone in a crate...I just can't do it. Sophie's breeder strongly agrees that I need to take her home at the end of the day before the office closes (so she has been monitored for several hours after her surgery at the clinic). I know others who have left their puppies overnight but they were not as small in size as Sophie.
Am I making the wrong decision? I would appreciate any advice or feedback as I am so stressed out about her upcoming surgery. |
I would absolutely take her home. I would never leave my dog if there was not a vet or vet tech present all night. You are doing the right thing.
