Mya always lays under the table and Oliver will sit beside me and hope something falls. Neither are beggars, I never allowed it and they learned quickly that it just got them in trouble. They are NEVER fed from the table, if we had veggies they can eat or egg whites I always put it in their dish. If I'm on the couch Oliver will sit with a paw on my leg and inch closer to my plate, hoping I don't notice.. lol. He's always disappointed
