Also, I've heard some good things about, "Mr. Rogers When a Pet Dies" Amazon.com: Mr. Rogers When a Pet Dies (A Mister Rogers' First Experiences) (9780399215049): Fred Rogers, Jim Judkis: Books .

I think it would be a good idea to talk with Isaiah about this, I'm not sure the best way to do it, but I'm pretty sure you shouldn't use the term, "put to sleep" with this age.
Thank you Nancy as always you are such a big help I definitely agree we need to talk to him about it. My Mom passed away when I was a teenager and Isaiah asked me about 6 months ago what state does my Mom live in (he is totally into maps and learning about the United States) and I told him she was in Heaven with God. I wasn't expecting at 4 to have the conversation with him but it was short and sweet. I was planning on telling him when the time comes that my Mom needed a furry child with her in Heaven so that's where Coco went. I don't know if that will be the right thing to say but I think it will help Isaiah cope.
