YIKES! There has been some CRAZY weather lately!
I went to VA 2 weeks ago and of course while I was there, they had thunderstorms sooo bad! It went for 11 hours straight non-stop thunder & lightening and heavy heavy downpours. But no hail and we didn't lose power. We had candles ready to go just in case though. The scariest part was, the tornado warnings. My bro is military and he kept getting alerts from the military weather advisor. A tornado touched down 4 miles from where he lives! The only tornado to touch down was in Hampton... where I was visiting! uuuggghhh just my luck! LOL It was SCARY! we were watching out the windows at the clouds swirling and forming over his house, but luckily noone was hurt at all. The tornado started as a water spout that came up onto the road for .3 miles and went back into the ocean and broke up.
