 electric fence???!!!
my neighbors got a yorkie about a yr ago....just recently they bought a shihtzu puppy....she is 4 months old...they want to be able to let them out and run around....they had an electric fence installed a few years back for their Lhasa who sadly passed away 2 yrs ago....now they want to use these collars on their yorkie and shihtzu!!!! UGH! I can't talk them out of it...they just don't seem to understand this isn't a good choice for these little ones,...AND their yorkie is the most hyper dog I have ever seen!!! My fear is not only will another animal get to them but, their yorkie, being so hyper, will go through the fence and get hit by a car!!! we have had fisher cats, bears, coyotes and hawks around our neighborhood...not to mention other dogs that have been off leash in our yards...I am a nervous wreck over this..They make fun of me because I am such a lunatic about my furbabies...but....they are safe. OY!
