 Alex Update
Ok maybe we are starting to see a little sunshine with my son Alex. We went to the surgeon for a check up. I was sooooo hoping to be released and to be able to quit dressing Alex's knee. Well, that didn't happen. He didn't get released, we go back in three weeks, and he is still having to have the knee dressed. HOWEVER, the good news is that the knee is healing and looks almost normal again!! All the fluid is gone and his knee is normal in size. The removed tissue has regrown and he is getting around great. The opening in the knee is finally closing and it does have a scab on it now. So it looks like the sun is finally shining for him!!! We go back in three weeks for another check up. Hoping it is the LAST time we have to go in!!! Thanks to all my YT friends who have said special prayers for my son! |
