I wonder if any of your UK members know how this got changed in their country?
My Lucy comes from the VP member of the YTCA in NJ. This issue came up in another post recently. Another member confirmed what my breeder said to me: that the YTCA is currently reviewing its position on docking tails. Top American breeders can't compete in certain countries with docked tails. My breeder said getting a pup without a docked tail is something that is "ahead of the curve." It will happen in the US. I think it will happen sooner than we think.
