He's always pretty much liked the water so no advice how to get a water-hating dog to love it. Didn't try out the swimming in the pool til he was 7 months, due to getting him in the winter time. His second summer was when he started diving by himself, but the lifejacket really helped him gain confidence. Now he doesn't even need nor want the jacket anymore. But I did introduce him really slow and at first I did use treats to coax him in.... |
