I can honestly say I have never had any issue with changing foods and what I do is just add a new bowl of the new food. I've read where some go through this whole big deal in changing foods but to me, its never been a big deal LOL. No problems. I recently changed to RC from LA and no problems. Just added a new bowl with the new food
