I would definitely keep him in a small area while you are not home. I would not put a belly band or diaper on him because of the incision. It should not be covered. Does he have an E collar to prevent him from licking it?
I have never had any issues after bladder stone surgery...have had two pups that had it, and they recovered quickly.

Yes the Tramadol is for pain he gets 1/4 tablet 2-3 times daily as needed he does have an e collar but doesnt lick the stiches so I will put it on him when Im not home just in case. I just feel so bad for him he really looks whipped.
