Animal Smiley 049 Concerns

brought Charlie home today only to have to rush him back. was home about an hour when I went to let him out he lost control of his legs and started gasping for air and drooling rushed immediately back to vets he was fine when I got there but it scared me to death. they said it was most likely a spasm in the abd from surgery they gave him a cortizone shot to aid with that. the gasping they said was anxiety. The did a full body xray to rule out any issues with heat and lungs there was a small pocket in the left lung that they noticed but were not over concerened they gave him a small injection of lasix for preventative measure. so there would be no pneumonia

I notice that after he tries to have a bowel movement he kind of drags his back leg, I dont know if this is from weakness (you know how they stand while they poo) or an anesthesia issue but I am calling tomorrow and informing the vet of my findings.

I am having allot of "accidents" and not sure how to control it. I was going to put a diaper on him but am afraid that it will rub where the stiches are. They said this would last a week or so I have to work tomorrow but am off the rest of the week. I guess I will just block off an area and come home at lunch to check on him. He is so pitiful I feel so bad for him. He just looks at me like "mommy Im sorry I peed on the floor" just breaks my heart. I just filled a bucket with spick n span water and mop when needed.

Hes resting noe I gave him a tramdol for pain so maybe he will rest through the night.

If anyone has been through this I would sure appreciate any help.
