Then give them of course; the finest of medical care, adjust your life around your dog; feed the most nutritious food for "them", then give them plenty of exercise, a firm and consistent set of expectations, challenge and engage their brains through varied experiences, obedience, rally, swimming, hiking, travelling, visiting strangers homes, fishing, canoeing, disc frisbee, flyball, dancing, etc etc.
