I already know there is no other option. We spoke with them after his neuro diagnosis. They said that he was such a high risk that we should leave the hernia as is until/unless he had problems again. This had happened previously and the only option then was surgery. I just hate the thought of what can happen....he could die during surgery...or the surgery could fail again. I guess I will know more after I see them tomorrow. One thing about them is that they are very honest and don't do things that are not necessary.

Oh, I suppose I should add a positive thought....the surgery could be successful.
