Default One ear is flopping - 9 months old.

Hello,

Oliver is 9 months old, and ever since I have had him [5.5 months] his ear have stood up. They look like giant bat ears, and while comical looking, I love them.
But now only one of his ears is standing up. I noticed one starting to sag, and now it has fully fallen down. He looks like a one-eared dog.

At 9 months old, he is no longer teething... so that shouldn't be the reason. I really don't want a dog with one floppy ear and one stand up ear, so I was hoping someone could help. Any ideas why this is happening? Would love any advice!

I have added a picture for your pleasure, when both of his ears were up.
