Hi everyone! My hubby is going in for surgery this Friday for a back fusion and will be in the hospital at least 3 days. The hospital is over an hour from our home so I will be staying closer to the hospital. A friend of mine has offered to take Hope for us while he is in the hospital but Hope is only 14 weeks old and this will be her first time away from home. My friend has a 6 month old yorkie girl and a small poodle. I plan of taking her playpen with bed, her own food, water bowls and toys. Any advice on how I can make this transition easier for my girl? I feel terrible leaving her already but know I can't take her to the hospital and don't want to leave her alone in the room all day.
