maisy got a tick on her head (the top sorta forehead area on her left side! my dad happens to be an entamologist (studies insects) and he pulled the majority of it out but it had been in there for aprox 4 hours! i felt so bad for her! she kept pulling back and whimpering but we had to get it all out! my dad said one leg of it is still in there. she has flea tick and heartworm medicine that we put on so i don't know why she got a tick. anyways..it was bleeding a little bit and my dad put a dab of alcohol on it so soften the area and pull it out but it didnt work. it's still in there. i guess we will have to wait for it to heal a little more. has anyone else not been able to ever remove the WHOLE tick? what happened? did the area heal?
