I just reread what I wrote, make that left their dog in a "car" in a parking lot.

Oh and my other favourite is, although not so bad it is bad enough, hot day let's walk the dog to the store; tie the dog up outside in the "sun" with no water, while they go inside an A/C cafe to have a cup of java. I don't care if it is 8am in the morning - if it is 80 degrees out and humid you dog can get heat exhaustion. Oh and btw this cafe had out door seating under umbrellas, with a Dog water bowl set up with iced water in it, and a convenient pole beside the water dish.
